As previously mentioned in SALIHIN Tax2share, highlight on Malaysia Budget 2023 dated 24 February 2023, the Prime Minister and Finance Minister, YAB Dato’ Seri Anwar bin Ibrahim has announced the reintroduction of Special Voluntary Disclosure Programme (“SVDP 2.0”) starting from June 2023 until 31 May 2024.

Subsequence to the above, both the Inland Revenue Board (“IRB”) and the Royal Malaysian Customs Department (“RMCD”) has issued operational guidelines for this programme which will be commencing from 6 June 2023 until 31 May 2024.
